1. What BlitzGraph is
BlitzGraph is a cloud database you access through an API, SDK, dashboard, or Portals. We host and run everything — you build on top.
BlitzGraph is a cloud-hosted database-as-a-service operated by Blitz Holdings Inc ("we", "us", "our"). The Service includes the BlitzGraph HTTP API, TypeScript SDK, React client library, Portals, and the BlitzStudio dashboard.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Your account
You sign up, you're responsible for your account. Keep your API keys safe — treat them like passwords.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including any use of API keys, tokens, or credentials issued to you.
You must keep your API keys and authentication tokens confidential. If you believe your credentials have been compromised, you must notify us immediately at [email protected] and rotate your keys.
3. What you can do
Use the API, build apps, store data in your spaces. The service is meant for building software products — go for it.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes or to build applications for your end users.
You may create spaces, define schemas, store and query data, build applications using our SDK and API, and serve content through Portals.
4. What you can't do
Don't reverse engineer the service, resell it as your own, or use it for anything illegal. Our Acceptable Use Policy has the full list.
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
- Resell, sublicense, or offer the Service as a standalone product to third parties
- Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable law
- Circumvent any access controls, rate limits, or security measures of the Service
- Use the Service in any way that violates our Acceptable Use Policy
5. Your data
Your data is yours. We don't sell it, train on it, or look at it. You can export it anytime.
You retain all rights to the data you store in BlitzGraph. We do not claim ownership of your data, and we do not sell, license, or use your data for any purpose other than providing and maintaining the Service.
We will not access your data except as necessary to operate the Service, comply with law, or respond to your support requests. You may export your data at any time through the API.
You are responsible for the legality and appropriateness of the data you store. You represent that you have all necessary rights to the data you upload.
6. Billing
Usage-based billing through Stripe. You pick a tier for each space. No refunds on usage already consumed.
Some features of the Service require a paid subscription. Pricing is based on your space tier and usage (storage, API requests, compute). Current pricing is available on our website.
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You are responsible for keeping your payment information current.
We do not offer refunds for usage already consumed. If you cancel your subscription, you retain access until the end of your current billing period.
7. Availability
We work hard to keep BlitzGraph up, but we don't guarantee 100% uptime. We'll let you know about planned maintenance.
We use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain the availability of the Service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.
We may perform scheduled maintenance that temporarily affects availability. We will provide reasonable advance notice of planned maintenance when possible.
8. Suspension and termination
Break the rules and we may suspend your account. You can delete your account anytime — we'll wipe your data within 30 days.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately if you violate these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, or if required by law. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before or promptly after any suspension.
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through the dashboard or by contacting us. Upon termination, we will delete your data within 30 days, except as required by law or as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Limitation of liability
If something goes wrong, our liability is capped at what you paid us in the last 12 months. We're not liable for indirect damages.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BLITZ HOLDINGS INC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
10. Changes to these terms
We'll email you and post a notice in the dashboard if we change these terms. Keep using the service after that and you're agreeing to the new version.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and through a notice in the BlitzStudio dashboard at least 30 days before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by California law. Any disputes go to the courts in San Francisco.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action arising from these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco, California.
